The Edge Sarasota is a nine-story boutique condominium development located at 290 Cocoanut Avenue in downtown Sarasota, Florida. The project includes approximately 72,550 square feet of residential space, comprising 28 luxury condominium units with ground-floor retail, all within walking distance of Sarasota’s cultural, dining, and waterfront destinations.

Snell Engineering provided the structural engineering for this concrete high-rise, designed to support both architectural expression and the demands of a coastal environment. The structure consists of cast-in-place concrete columns and shear walls supporting a two-way concrete slab system. Residential levels occupy floors three through nine, featuring spacious units with private balconies, while the second level is dedicated to structured parking. A third-floor elevated amenity deck incorporates a swimming pool and outdoor gathering spaces with views of downtown Sarasota and Sarasota Bay. The Edge Sarasota reflects a balance of architectural elegance and structural resilience, delivering a refined residential experience within a dense urban setting.
